Vegaquick is a general-purpose low viscosity, ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive which is suitable for the flex board industry for bonding flex to metal or other substrates.
Applications
It is recommended for bonding flex to metal or wooden surface. It is also used by industries like auto assembly shops, electronic goods repairer / manufacturer, auto mechanics & at home for general bonding applications. It bonds instantly to most plastics, rubber, ceramic, metal like non porous substrates & porous substrates like wood, leather etc. It will not bond PTFE, nylon, polypropylene etc.
How to use
- Make sure the surfaces to be bonded are clean and dry.
- Dispense a drop or drops to one surface only. Apply only enough to leave a thin film after compression.
- Press parts together and hold firmly for a few seconds. Good contact is essential. An adequate bond develops in less than one minute.
- Wipe off excess adhesive from the top of the nozzle and recap if left uncapped, may deteriorate by contamination from moisture in the air.
- Because Vegaquick condenses by polymerization, sometimes whitening will occur on the surface of the container.
